About This Trail

A moderate-to-easy hike up the ridge behind Daajing Giids, following a creek known to early settlers as Templeton. The narrow trailhead path widens after about 15 minutes; from there the trail is marked with flagging tape and groups of three clam shells (as on Gore Brook Trail). At roughly 30 minutes a fork marks the end of the easily navigable route — the left-hand path toward the creek is overgrown and not recommended. Continue instead to Scout Lake before returning downhill for an easy hike back into town.
