About This Trail
The place to hike on Haida Gwaii for those who want relatively easy access to ancient trees. This route was cut and marked in 2004. It follows the main stem of the lower Tlell River for 6 km through mixed forest, then peat bog for 3.5 more kilometres. Many ancient trees, beautiful places to sit, and a designated swimming hole.
