About the Artisan
Betsy Cardell
Betsy Cardell is an accomplished local artist who specializes in batik, with additional work in feltwork and paint. She studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and trained under batik masters in Indonesia. Her work is often inspired by walks with her dog, during which she finds herself drawn to the vibrancy and quiet separateness of the surrounding flora.
Art is a place we can all find some common ground and connect even without seeing each other.
