Sleeping Beauty Trail

Sleeping Beauty Trail – Tarundl Mountain is over 5 kilometres of sometimes rocky scramble. Located near Daajing Giids, follow the Honna Forest Service Road at the west end of the village and follow the signs to Sleeping Beauty cutting to the right. After a wood-decked bridge there is a small parking lot at the trailhead. Steep driving on a user-maintained road.

Wet at the outset, with some rope ladders on steep sections. Opens out to a saddle of alpine and subalpine forest. A meadow and two small still-water ponds about 100 metres beneath the summit make a great place to camp overnight.
