Events

Life on Haida Gwaii moves to its own rhythm — shaped by tides, seasons, and a community that has lived in close relationship with this place for thousands of years. Events here reflect that: a totem pole raising is not a performance, it’s a living cultural moment, a community celebration that draws the whole island.

This calendar covers what’s happening across the archipelago — from Daajing Giids to Masset, on Graham Island, and Sandspit on Moresby. We update it as events are confirmed, but Haida Gwaii also runs on word of mouth. If you’re on the islands and want to know what’s on this weekend, stop in or call us.
